This, one of a kind Charlie Deer Sgraffito piece, has become a high demand on the artwork market. To make it, Charlie Deer took soft balls of clay and flattened it using high tech flattening technology. He then layed the clay over a wooden template to get the perfect square shape. After, he painted the clay with a black paint. Finally, he traced the Chicago Cubs logo with 2-0-1-6 in the corners and scratched the black paint away to expose the logo. This piece is selling for $150 on the global artwork market.
Inspiration
- After winning the 2016 world series, it was hard for Charlie Deer to make a plate that didn't involve the Chicago Cubs. They have proven to the world and Charlie Deer that they are worthy of respect. Go Cubs!!!!
